Whole-body contamination measurement system BodySCAN.
The Body Scan whole-body contamination measurement system is a stationary system for monitoring personnel contamination with high precision and a high throughput rate. For ease of use, the system is equipped with a touchscreen and a loudspeaker that guides you clearly and comprehensibly through the measurement process. An entry and exit door are available as options.



Advanced detection technology
The equipment integrates 24 ZnS(Ag) scintillation detectors with a surface area of 860 cm², ensuring simultaneous measurement of alpha and beta/gamma contamination over a total area of 20,640 cm². Optimized surface sensitivity and minimal dead zones between detectors guarantee homogeneous and precise measurements, in accordance with ISO 11929:2010.
Design and reliability
The robust steel construction, combined with LED interior lighting, ensures high durability and user comfort. The automatically adjustable head detector (from 160 to 210 cm) adapts to each user's height, while a light curtain secures the position. Modern electronics, based on CAN Bus, incorporate self-monitoring functions, allowing for low operating and maintenance costs. The electronic boards are accessible through a service door, facilitating maintenance operations.
Ergonomics and user support
The system guides the operator through the entire process using visual and auditory guidance and a 10.4-inch graphical touchscreen interface. The measurement is performed in two stages (front and back), thus covering the entire body surface. The position of the hands, feet, head, and body is continuously monitored to prevent errors.
Smart and optimized measurement
- Automatic background noise measurement: The background noise is updated every second and automatically subtracted, allowing for rapid detection of fluctuations.
- Time constant: The system automatically calculates the optimal measurement time, reducing it by up to 40% for uninfected individuals.
- People control the measurement time is adjusted based on the detection limits; the results are presented graphically and audibly, and saved in an SQL database.
Display and results
The results are available in CPS, Bq, or Bq/cm², with configurable alarm thresholds according to your needs. During the measurement, the remaining time is announced and the measured values are displayed in real-time.

Precision and reliability in all conditions
Visit LB 135 TOL/G is a new generation measuring instrument designed to accurately determine equivalent doses and equivalent dose rates H(10)* in an energy range between 15 keV and 7 MeV. Compliant with IEC 60846, it can be used in both continuous and pulsed gamma and X-ray radiation fields.
Thanks to its differentiated integration modes, the device ensures precise determination of the received dose while continuously displaying dose rates, thus allowing for instant detection of any variation in the radiation field. This dual configuration guarantees great flexibility of use in the field, whether for environmental, medical, or industrial measurements.
