Simtec has released its traditional study on the test and measurement market. Results: the market is holding up better than what the latest studies suggested ...
For Éric Fauxpoint, Chairman of the SIMTEC Market Research Committee, " the world of Test and Measurement is now talking about a 'more serene' situation ".
Indeed, the last study had announced a market decline of 7.5% over the period 2009/2008. But, for the new period 2010/2009, the figures are more encouraging: + 2.5%.
In this market, heavy goods vehicles are always the same: aeronautics and defense (almost 28% of the market), education and research (19%) and industry and components (almost 11%).
The union focuses on the markets of the future, namely: renewable energies, teleworking, telehealth, very high speed, home automation, smart buildings, security, hybrid and electric vehicles, electronic lighting , and nanoelectronics.
