The fourteenth French edition of NIDays, organized by National Instruments on February 8, attracted 1,102 visitors. This is the first time that the thousand people have been passed, and the event continues to grow, facilitated this year by being held in a place much more accessible by public transport (CNIT de Paris La Défense). The event is mainly intended for engineers, scientists and teachers. The 2011 edition was structured around a permanent exhibition (69 stands) coupled with 2 plenary lectures, 42 introductory sessions and technical lectures and 12 hours of practical work. Finally, visitors to NIDays had once again the The ability to take Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) certification exams for users who want to validate their LabVIEW graphics programming skills. Like practically every edition, James Truchard (CEO and co-founder of National Instruments ), an American francophile, was present. Also note the presence of two distinguished guests: Hubert Reeves (the famous astrophysicist) and Sébastien Boutruche (Managing Director of Freebox SA ); The latter came to explain the testing needs of the all new Freebox (whose innovative concept has already caused much ink to flow) in terms of testing and the reasons for choosing PXI products to meet them.
