It was at the Hannover Fair, which took place from 23 to 27 April, that the Weidmoller Group announced its results for the 2011 fiscal year. With a turnover of 620 million euros, the company recorded a growth of 16% compared to the previous year, higher than the industry average.
This growth affects all geographic regions and divisions of the group.
The group has also expanded its international commercial presence. "One of wedimler's strengths, and what our customers particularly appreciate, is our proximity. In 2011, we acquired our partner Conexel in Brazil and opened commercial subsidiaries in Russia and Hong Kong. Because we want to bring our support to our customers as close as possible to their sites," said Volpert Briel, Sales and Marketing Director of the Weidmoller Group.
Weidmoller also unveiled in Hanover its new visual identity and its new slogan "Let's Connect". A slogan that reflects the Group's primary objective: to provide the best possible connections, in terms of products, sectors, technologies and people.
