National Instruments announces the NI PXIe-8135 controller, which integrates the Intel Core i7 processor with four 3rd-generation cores and USB 3.0 connectivity, making it the fastest PXI on-board controller in the industry. This new model helps engineers reduce test times and increase the pace of automatic testing, reinforcing the adoption of PXI instrumentation for high-performance testing, measurement and control applications.
Characteristics
· The Intel Core i7-3610QE 3rd-generation four-core processor, with a clock frequency of up to 3.3 GHz, built into the NI PXIe-8135, delivers up to 85% more performance than the previous generation's on-board NI controller.
· USB 3.0 connectivity provides 10 times more instrumentation communication to transfer and store data externally.
· Four 2nd-generation PCI Express x4 links interface the on-board controller with the chassis basket bottom by delivering up to 8GB/s of system cadence for high bandwidth streaming applications.
