According to the organizers, the synergy between the Carrefour de l'électronique, Mesurexpovision, Opto and RF&Hyper shows brought together over 400 exhibitors and more than 5,500 visitors.
The mobilization of exhibitors and the main institutional networks in electronics, measurement, optics/photonics and RF&Hyper, the richness of the conferences, the attractiveness of the events and the new Business meetings pre-meeting service contributed strongly to the success of this 2012 edition, which brought together 412 exhibiting companies, 5,563 visitors and also 200 participants in the first French-speaking Congress on optical fiber applications and Epic Workshop on biophotonics.
Innovation, a real growth driver, was at the heart of the trade shows, with the Innovation Trophies, the Cap'tronic Trophies, the Photons, the Yves Rocard Prize and the Instrumentation Prize all testifying to the richness of the national industrial fabric, the research efforts undertaken by laboratories and the innovation demonstrated by exhibitors.
For the organizers, the 5,500 visitors represent an increase of 9 % over the 2011 editions, which were split into two: Carrefour de l'électronique and RF&Hyper in May; Mesurepovision and Opto in October.
Synergy between the shows is strong, with 37 % of visitors claiming to have come to visit all 4 shows.
In addition, enovaParis welcomed 200 participants to the first French-speaking congress on optical fiber applications and the Epic Workshop on biophotonics.
As for exhibitors, the 412 companies were mainly divided between Mesurexpovision (163 exhibitors) and the Carrefour de l'électronique, including RF&Hyper with 148 exhibitors. Opto attracted 101 exhibitors.
Successful launch of Business Meetings
For the first time, a professional exchange program was set up, tailored to the specific needs and requirements of visitors (innovation project leaders and buyers) by organizing and coordinating qualified, pre-programmed business meetings with exhibitors over a three-day period. The service was a resounding success, with 217 appointments made with 44 exhibitors registered on the program. 83 % of these meetings were held with innovation projects and 17 % with buyers.
The next Enova shows will be held on March 27 and 28 for Enova Grand Ouest, from June 12 to 15 for Enova Tunisie, and from October 8 to 10 for Mesurexpovision, Opto, Carrefour de l'électronique and RF&Hyper.
