It was during the exhibitors' evening on Tuesday, April 16th that the Innovation Trophies of the Industry Lyon 2013 show were presented.
Category productivity (product or service innovation aims to improve user productivity) the winner is Emuge-Franken for its Mandrin Speedsynchro. The Speedsynchro chuck with speed multiplier divides the pin speed by a factor of 4,412. Since the pin has extremely reduced acceleration phases, the programmed cutting speed is actually achieved with part of the machining at constant speed. Current records show a 90% decrease in consumption.
Technology category (the company that has made the most use of a product or service with a new technology or technology usually reserved for another use): the winner is Guy Neret for his indexed turntable.
The company has just patented a new system allowing pallets of the same turntable to remain stationary at different technological times, without altering the initial rate of production. This innovation avoids machine duplication, thus reducing land use and all associated resources (energy consumption, human resources, maintenance costs, etc.) for an easier return on investment.
Ergonomics category (having products that are easier to operate): the winner is the A6-15 cobot developed by RB3D.
Developed with the help of the CEA list and CETIM, the A6-15 cobot is the first true collaborative robot, major innovation in safety and reduction of occupational disease risks. In contrast to a conventional robot made to operate without the presence of man, the
cobot is a collaborative machine driven 100% of the time by humans, via a handle that makes the detection of intent based on the movements produced by the operator.
Environmental category (rewarding the company's efforts in the area of ecodesign, zero rejection or
energy savings): the winner is Edrastop Composite for its new ED-Gliss 200Smaterial.
This new material has been specially designed to respond to any problem of linear friction on flat surfaces (slides). The innovation brought by the ED-GLISS 200S lies in its composition derived from recycled composite materials proves that composite materials can be given a second life while retaining excellent mechanical characteristics.
Jury's favorite: GYS TIG TIG welding system
In addition to integrating all the functions that are now essential in the field of TIG welding, the TIG 250 AC/DC benefits from a revolutionary cooling system called "FANLESS" (without ventilation).
