Invensys, a leading supplier of innovative industrial software, systems and control-control devices for the world's largest companies, unveils its next-generation process automation system. With powerful tools and applications that work on a high-performance hardware platform, has failure tolerance, native cybersecurity and incorporates the world's first Triconex security automation system developed by Invensys, the Foxboro Evo process automation system has been designed to improve operational knowledge and integrity.

"The three most important features a processing automation software provider can provide to enable its customers to secure their future: protecting the operational integrity of their plants, improving the operational knowledge of their teams and allowing them to easily adapt to change at a lower cost," said Gary Freburger, President of Invensys systems business. "Our new Foxboro Evo system includes these possibilities with unparalleled efficiency. With more powerful processing capability and innovative and sophisticated applications, the system allows our customers to discover new capabilities in their business. This is a new advance in the field of automation on the part of a company that has been driving major technological advances for more than a hundred years. We are very excited about the progress this represents for the industry and our customers that we wish to continue to support in pursuing their short- and long-term business and professional objectives. »

The Foxboro Evo process automation system is directly inspired by the pioneering Foxboro I/A Series system and Triconex technology, both of which have been selected by large users to control and protect some of the world's most complex and important production units, or they are known for their innovative and stratified architecture. The system expands its approach via an object-oriented platform that can withstand major developments without requiring shutdown.

The Foxboro Evo system includes a new high-performance process controller, field instrument management tools, a maintenance response center, a company-sized history tool, with 1-n redundancy and enhanced cybersecurity.
