Wonderware, a major player in the design of automation and industrial computing software, announces the release of The InTouch Access Anywheresoftware. Wonderware is extending its real-time visualization offering to all mobile devices with this new software that is resolutely forward-looking.

This new solution allows users to access InTouch monitoring data through a web browser® from any location and from all types of mobile devices including Microsoft tablets, iPads, iPhones, Androids, etc. InTouch Access Anywhere also supports Macintosh and Linux operating systems, as does Microsoft Windows operating systems on PC.

Wonderware Expands Real-Time Visualization Offering to All Mobile Devices

Because this solution does not require the installation of any additional software on mobile devices, it is remarkably easy to deploy, manage and maintain.
"This new offering complements and expands Wonderware's mobility strategy for real-time visualization of production facilities and infrastructure. Wonderware intends to maintain its leading position in the market and this solution is a testament to its commitment. Unlike other competing solutions, already available, this one brings many advantages, especially in terms of deployment, maintenance and versatility. Explains Grégory GUIHENEUF, Marketing Director Wonderware France.

Already with mobile solutions for reporting, decision support and workflow, InTouch Access Anywhere now brings IHM visualization capabilities to all mobile devices on the market.
These features expand Wonderware's software portfolio by providing operators and business management with real-time process optimization tools that can be accessed from anywhere.

"Mobility is at the heart of many performance initiatives among our customers who have distributed facilities. We are convinced that mobility tools will not replace the facilities we currently know - whether they are control rooms or machine-footed IHMs - however they will complement the tools currently used and gradually replace paper, which is still widely used in many companies. To demonstrate our commitment to the mobility sector, we have built up an unparalleled portfolio of products. IntelaTrac (released in 2010) allows data surveys to be conducted in the field using business procedures. SmartGlance (released in 2011) offers a mobile reporting solution that can be accessed from any type of SmartPhone. Finally, ArchestrA Workflow's Work Task (released in 2012) provides a technical way for itinerant staff to take part in a business process regardless of its geographical location. And today, InTouch Access Anywhere for access to real-time viewing of installations. Explains Grégory GUIHENEUF.

Openness and flexibility of use

InTouch Access Anywhere relies on HTML5 technology that offers total openness to all types of web browsers: Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Google Chrome, Safari. In addition to this important technical point, InTouch Access Anywhere offers identical access to traditional PC supervision. No redevelopment, no degradation in terms of functionality, no conversion for this new kind of application. InTouch Access Anywhere also offers advanced IT security features, making access to supervision completely secure.
"What will mark the developers and users of InTouch Access Anywhere is its operating performance and ease of implementation. With a 3G connection, from a tablet or SmartPhone the fluidity is impressive. - concludes Grégory GUIHENEUF
