In March 2013, Endress-Hauser announced that changes would be made to its management. It's done. After 19 years at the helm of the group, Klaus Endress has added his CEO office in Reinach, Switzerland, to join the Supervisory Board, where he will replace Chairman Klaus Riemenschneider, who is retiring after 43 years in the group's service. The group's new CEO is Matthias Altendorf, former director of the Skills Centre for Level and Pressure Measurements in Maulburg, Germany. The 46-year-old is only the third CEO since the company's inception in 1953, and the first not to come from the Endress family of shareholders.
