March 2013, Endress+Hauser had announced changes to its management team. This has now been done. After 19 years at the head of the Group, Klaus Endress has left his CEO's office in Reinach, Switzerland, to join the Supervisory Board, where he will replace Chairman Klaus Riemenschneider, who is stepping down after 43 years with the Group. The Group's new CEO is Matthias Altendorf, former Director of the Competence Center for Level and Pressure Measurement in Maulburg, Germany. Aged 46, he is only the third CEO since the company was founded in 1953, and the first not to come from the Endress family of shareholders.
