Bonfiglioli Riduttori and Comer Industries announce a historic agreement that will enable the two industry leaders in the design and production of power transmission systems to achieve their respective long-term strategic objectives.
From January 2015, Comer Industries will sell to Bonfiglioli Riduttori the entire company's shares devoted to the production of its ranges of electric wheels (electric-powered wheel wheels) and epicycloidal drive wheels. Bonfiglioli acquires two Comer production lines: line for wheel gearboxes for mini excavators and line of electric wheels for handling.
Comer Industries wants to focus and optimize its resources on core product lines for the agricultural and industrial machinery sector. For Bonfiglioli, this acquisition is an extraordinary opportunity to expand its range of epicycloidal drive wheels, gain market share and complement the range of solutions for electric mobility, especially for the material handling sector.
The agreement between the two companies is part of the logic of the philosophy of optimizing product lines and creating synergies to increase competitiveness in the respective reference markets, in line with the strategy of the two companies.
