As part of the development of its range of test-measurement products, the HTDS group is presiding over its latest innovation in electronic amplification by manufacturer Ametek: a LOCK-IN 7210 synchronous-detection amplifier.
A single instrument to demodulate up to 512 channels
Designed by Ametek for signal processing, the locK-iN 7210 synchronous detection amplifier allows you to simultaneously demodulate up to 32 signals on the same frequency and up to 512 channels. It brings a new dimension to the various tests and measurements carried out compared to traditional amplifiers, which can usually only perform one or two simultaneous measurements. For some experiments (spectroscopy, imaging..) these "classic" instruments are not sufficient or the experiment to be put in place would require a much too large budget. Also, it is to meet these new test and measurement needs that multi-channel synchronous detection has been developed.
An instrument that opens up new perspectives for signal processing
This new instrument can be used for signal processing in many applications and opens up a wide range of new research perspectives:
- spectroscopy
- superconductor test
- simultaneous inductancy measurement
- magnetic imaging
- multi-head sweep
- sounding pump experiments
