Laser Components presents the new Flexpoint laser modules, now equipped with a microcontroller - they carry the "DIG" extension. The MVmicro DIG series is the first series of lasers for image processing to be equipped with a microcontroller.
The microcontroller opens up excellent possibilities for users, who can communicate with the module via an RS232 interface and even configure laser parameters. This allows access to operating time, temperature, or diode current. A certain output power or shutdown temperature, for example, can be programmed.
Additional settings are possible via this interface; these include digital or analog modulation and variable power adjustment. In addition to the standard parameters, custom programming is also possible.
MVmicro lasers are available in countless design variants: modules project a single line or parallel multi-lines with homogeneous energy distribution. Other configurations are also available with a particularly thin line or enhanced focal depth. Lines can be easily focused by hand - no tools are required for this adjustment.
The MVmicro DIG is available in the following wavelengths: 520 nm, 405 nm, 450 nm, 640 nm, 660 nm, 785 nm, 830 nm. The lasers feature an M12 connector for easy electrical connection.
