Rockwell Automation has invested in The Hive, an innovation fund and co-creation studio in Silicon Valley, to access an ecosystem of innovators and technology startups focused on artificial intelligence (AI) applications for industrial automation. Rockwell Automation's objectives include co-creation to meet specific customer needs, accelerating innovation, and identifying new technologies that can help manufacturers improve their business performance through the convergence of information technology (IT) and production (OT).
