PTC scores highest ahead of GE, ABB and Siemens, completing its impressive industry awards
PTC announced that its ThingWorx platform tops the ranking of industrial innovation platforms according to the "Smart Manufacturing Platform Competitive Assessment" comparative study published by ABI Research.
The study analyzed the platforms of 11 major suppliers based on various criteria such as innovation and implementation, taking into account the company's overall business model, partnerships, product functionality and integration capabilities. ThingWorx scored the highest overall score in the innovation category, particularly for its augmented reality (AR) applications, and tied it to first place for its digital twin applications, performance in terms of compatibility and connectivity.
