Year after year, the Progiciels trade show (Annecy Le Vieux) organized by Thésame, reinforces its position as the number 1 in industrial performance and digital. The 2018 edition, which has just come to a close, made its mark with a rich product offering and unique animations. If the theme of the year was "the performance equation", it's certain that visitors found the solution! 2018 will go down in history. Attendance at the Progiciels show equalled 2017's record, but attendance time was up again.
Record attendance
For Valérie Braesch and Chloé Biget, the event's organizers, the feedback has been particularly gratifying. Each edition is different, but we wanted to make our mark by aligning our offering with the industry of the future. Exhibitors particularly appreciated the new layout, materials and the blue and orange colors of the stands, which energized the space. We took a daring gamble, but innovation paid off. ".
Exhibitor testimonials are almost unanimous". we felt like we were in a new salon. The atmosphere is very modern and the challenge of Progi-awards motivated the teams. "Astree Software won the trophy for best customer experience at this year's show. But the most striking feature of this year's event was the importance of trade. Whether it's the effect of the digital investment surcharge or the good health of the industry, the evidence was there. The presentation of new tools, either on stands or in workshops, attracted a massive number of visitors.
Exclusive events to enhance your skills
On the conference side, attendance was highly qualified. Particularly in the morning sessions devoted to the new tools of Lean 4.0, and in the afternoon to the role of people in the digital transformation of companies. In one morning, I had access to the 3 experts I wanted to meet. But the most important thing remains: to find the right method for my workshops. "explains one of the participants.
More technological, the 3D printing village raised awareness of the opportunities offered by additive technologies, with the presence of major national players such as Initial (prodway group) or Add-up (co-company Michelin - Fives), as well as start-ups such as Ludeek. The "digitalization brakes" workshop covered the walls with post-it notes. The aim was to share, in a very studious atmosphere, the positive or negative practices of some fifteen companies, and to compare them with the research work of the G-SCOP laboratory. Finally the booster and the 3x3x3 pitch organized with the regional Digital League cluster crowned startup Beelse, which offers a flexible, intuitive SaaS solution that enables manufacturers to make a simple transition from traditional industry to Industry 4.0 by integrating 3D printing resources anywhere in the world.
