Erpro Group, the French leader in additive manufacturing, recently acquired the new HP Jet Fusion 4200 3D printer. With its revolutionary speed and production quality, the new HP solution will maintain Erpro Group's position in mass-production 3D printing. " We're delighted with the acquisition of the HP Multi Jet Fusion machine. It is part of our plan to develop our machine park, which is now geared towards high-volume additive manufacturing. It will enable us to meet new demands and conquer new markets, while improving our productivity. "says Cyrille Vue, CEO of Erpro Group.
Erpro Group and HP, the industry of the future
" In collaboration with our customers, we pride ourselves on reinventing design and manufacturing methods. The adoption of our HP Jet Fusion 3D printing solution by Erpro, a recognized and specialized player in additive manufacturing in France, enables us to join forces to contribute to the development of innovative applications in our country's industry."says Nicolas Aubert, Director of Business Development for HP's 3D printing division. Multi Jet Fusion is a powder-based technology that uses no laser devices. The powder bed is heated uniformly at the start of the process. A fusing agent is then sprayed onto the surface according to part cross-sections, and a detailing agent is sprayed onto the contours to improve part resolution. As the lamps heat up above the powder bed, the fusing agent captures the heat to create a layer. This new concept will increase productivity by speeding up the production cycle, and produce precise, functional parts with complex details, while maintaining optimum mechanical properties. Erpro Group aims to conquer new markets with this new technology, and maintain its lead in the mass-production 3D printing market. In 2018, nearly 10 million parts were produced. By 2020, Erpro Group aims to multiply this figure by a factor of 3.
