Capture's latest update offers many application tools for field-use of all-point focusing methods (FTP, or TFM).
Eddyfi Technologies has announced the release of version 3.2 of capture data acquisition and analysis software. Capture, now known for its intuitive user interface, is available on Gekko, Mantis and also on computer.
Since 2013, this software has been constantly evolving and offering its users the technological advances most relevant to their business. Taking into account the needs of the market and the most demanding customers, Capture allows access to the most efficient ultrasound imaging techniques in a sleek and intuitive interface.
With more than eight years of experience using All Focusing Methods(FTP), Capture 3.2 offers a comprehensive suite of TFM tools and options, including multi-mode, multi-sound and multi-group features.
With most of the checks to be carried out on both sides of the weld, these new additions allow technicians to use the "classic" procedures with multiple multi-elements sensors (PAUTs) simultaneously, now benefiting from the high resolutions, sizing performance and productivity gains offered by the TFM. This update allows users to stay one step ahead while complying with current standards and codes. The TFM was introduced into the ASME code in 2019, and the ISO standard is in its final stage before publication.
Capture 3.2 also introduces graphics and dynamic control configuration tools for TOFD, PAUT and TFM methods. These intuitive parameterization tools ensure optimized area coverage and compliance with the rules of good practice. New analytics features complete this release. Creating reports with completed point tables is now fast and automated.
As the first manufacturer NDT to offer a portable PAUT instrument on the market with TFM, Eddyfi Technologies continues to lead the technological revolution with improved performance and the assurance of reliable controls.
