The 34th Control International Quality Assurance Show will not be able to proceed as planned from May 4 to 7, 2021 due to the pandemic. Despite this, exhibitors and visitors can meet as part of Control-Virtual 2021, thanks to digital showrooms.
New products and solutions in the areas of measurement and testing, as well as vision, image processing, sensor technology and services are presented in a structured framework, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Any desired information covering the show's nomenclature can be selected through the thematic search engine.
Two tools allow the exhibitors of the show to be connected with an audience of international experts. With the webcast feature exhibitors enter directly the dates of their live presentations. These are then available as a link and/or PDF file to download.
A problem-solving tool is also available: as soon as a search is launched through product groups, the "Ask for an individualized solution" button appears under the results list. The user can enter a title and a brief description, triggering commercial contact and direct exchange between the interested party and the supplier.
"Control-Virtual is not a substitute for the show, but it has made a strong mark among our exhibitors. Above all, now that the quality assurance sector needs to do without Control (...) for the second time in a row, the virtual show is an effective and simple way for exhibitors and expert visitors to interact directly. The latest quality assurance solutions are clearly presented in showrooms. With the "Ask for an individualized solution" feature, participants can explore new solution options, explainsFabian Kroger, Control's project manager.
