Intact (INTꓥCT), the newly created Advanced NDT and Mechanical Integrity subsidiary of Ekoscan, a company specializing in the manufacture of state-of-the-art equipment for the non-destructive testing industry, announces that Air Liquide has taken a minority stake in its capital through its venture capital Aliad (Air Liquide Venture Capital).
The ambition of both partners is to jointly develop "best technologies and best practices for inspecting, monitoring and predicting the health of industrial equipment, for the benefit of industry as a whole."
Building on the technological advances to which it has contributed, Ekoscan created Intact at the end of 2020.
In cooperation with Ekoscan (a recognized manufacturer of state-of-the-art ultrasonic NDT equipment), Extende (the world leader in NDT simulation) and Air Liquide, Intact offers its customers tailor-made solutions to meet the most demanding needs in non-destructive testing, custom engineering, mechanical integrity and structural health monitoring.
Speaking about this new partnership, Hugo Cence, President of Ekoscan, states: "Air Liquide has placed its trust in us over the past four years. Today, we are taking a step forward together to continue developing solutions, designing, inspecting and managing asset integrity through connected technologies. I am convinced that all our customers will benefit from this partnership, as we reinforce innovation and cutting-edge technologies, operational stability, safety and profitability. I would like to personally thank our partner Aliad for all their efforts in finalizing this agreement."
Matthieu Eyriès, Managing Director of Aliad, comments: "This partnership resonates with the Air Liquide Group's ambitions to rely on technologies to control both the integrity of assets and the safety of industrial processes. Intact will provide innovative solutions to continuously improve predictive maintenance at our sites and those of our customers."
