Eddyfi/NDT announces that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Zetec, a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc. The transaction is expected to close at the end of the year and is subject to customary closing conditions and approvals.

Founded 50 years ago, Zetec is a major player in the non-destructive (NDT) industry, with global engineering and manufacturing centers in Quebec City, Canada, and headquartered in Snoqualmie, Washington, USA. In addition, Zetec is present worldwide, with centers of excellence in Houston, Paris, Seoul and Shanghai. Present in major industries such as energy production, aerospace, defense, rail and manufacturing, its advanced NDT solutions help protect highly critical assets worldwide.

Specifically, following the closing of the transaction, Zetec will officially join Eddyfi Technologies, a business unit of Eddyfi/NDT. "For more than 10 years, we have been very successful in the NDT market by focusing on NDT specialized technologies. Through innovation and a customer-centric approach, we are a driving force in our industry. We believe that the acquisition of Zetec will complement our market coverage and expertise and allow for the emergence of new opportunities. I am already excited to see the innovative ideas that will emerge from the union of our forces and that will change the game for the industry," said Pierre-Hugues Allard, President of Eddyfi Technologies.

"For many reasons, one of which is that the two companies share the same roots, I believe that our Group is the ideal home for the Zetec team. We are very excited to reconnect and collaborate with former colleagues, friends and customers to imagine, together, new possibilities thanks to Eddyfi/NDT's renewed perspective on the market. Thanks to our strengths, our combined experience, as well as our respective technological leadership, the association is natural and will create a stronger company," adds Martin Theriault, CEO of Eddyfi/NDT.
