On 28 September, the South-East Regional Committee of Cofrend is organising a technical day on the theme "Non-destructive tests in concrete". The day will be held both remotely and face-to-face (if conditions permit), on the scientific campus of the Château-Gombert technopole, at the Laboratory of Acoustic Mechanics (LMA) in Marseille.
The theme of the day will cover conventional, innovative and R&D NDTs applied to the control of concrete structures.
This day will also be an opportunity to present the work of the Cofrend Non-Destructive Assessment & Civil Engineering working group, and to give the floor to the new civil engineering sectoral committee working on the implementation of a certification.
The day will revolve around presentations by speakers on the methods and approaches that have made it possible to identify defects resulting from construction as well as degradations and pathologies developed during operation.
A dedicated space will also allow four manufacturers to present their solutions. Two companies have already confirmed their presence: Mistras and Proceq.
