With the exclusive distribution of the Parmacontrols brand in France, HTDS strengthens its commercial offer and now offers a complete and innovative range of high-performance vision inspection solutions.

The company presented for the first time in France at the last Prod&PacK 2021, the brand new camera inspection system developed by Parmacontrols for the control of plastic packaging containing food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products: Control Camera Plastic.

Control Camera Plastic is an autonomous inspection machine that is installed directly on the production line and can detect foreign bodies inside plastic containers that can be of varying shapes and sizes. Thus, this new product control solution is equipped with a high-resolution detection system that allows the total inspection of packaged products whether food, cosmetic or pharmaceutical, directly on the production line.

The great feature of this innovative system is to use up to six high-resolution cameras to achieve an optimal quality inspection with a minimum of false rejections.

In the end, combined with the proprietary Parmacontrols software, the new Control Camera Plastic vision inspection system is an ideal solution for the detection of non-standard, non-compliant products or irregularities on products in plastic packaging.

A high-resolution multi-camera solution

At the technical level, the Control Camera Plastic system offers the possibility of implementing controls that allow the inspection of many aspects of the finished products:

  • Finishing controls: size control, ovalization, discontinuity, cuts, damage.
  • Bottom inspection: possible holes, contamination, shape and size of the injection site.
  • Side wall inspection: size control, deformations, crushing, damage, stains, opacities.

A compact and autonomous system, Control Camera Plastic is installed directly on the production line and its installation is carried out in a standard way thanks to an optical box housed in a suitable "suitcase" and delivered with a complete range of calipers for fixing the cameras.

In addition to a speed of execution that automatically adapts according to the requested inspection task, the Control Camera Plastic vision system displays a sensitivity of more than 0.01 mm as well as a variable operational accuracy depending on the type of inspection and definable after a test on real samples.

Finally, the sophisticated software developed by Parmacontrols that powers the vision system is ergonomic and adapts to each individual application by developing specific algorithms for the different types of inspections requested.
