Aerotech launches new ANT nanopositioning stages with improved performance specifications and small footprints.
Building on the success of the first generation, Aerotech, specialists in motion control and precision automation, has launched the second generation of ANT nanopositioning stages. Building on the successful predecessor model, the high-precision ANT95 and ANT130 nanopositioners are designed to provide even greater user support in terms of dynamics and precision.
"We've made ANT nanopositioning stages even better, offering our customers options with impressive dynamic capabilities, industry-leading positioning performance, new displacement ranges and more," said Brian Fink, Product Manager at Aerotech. Our second-generation ANT stages offer positional stability and minimal incremental movement in the sub-nanometer range." This is ensured by non-contact direct drive technology, extremely precise guiding and incremental movement in the sub-nanometer range, while maintaining high productivity capability. For example, users whose processes require highly precise, repeatable alignment of optical components will find the ideal solution in the ANT series."
The new ANT tables are suitable for both single-axis and multi-axis applications requiring high-precision motion with high productivity. Aerotech cites a wide range of applications, including photonics assembly and inspection, fiber alignment and optimization, optical manufacturing, test and inspection, sensor test and qualification, semiconductor manufacturing and inspection, and research and laboratory applications.
The new ANT95 and ANT130 nanopositioners are available as single-axis, XY-solution or Z-axis nanopositioning tables, offering uncompromising resolution, precision, repeatability, small footprint and reliability.
Aerotech will be exhibiting at Control from May 3 to 6, 2022 in Stuttgart (Hall 5, Stand 5506).
