The Institut de Soudure group will inaugurate, on April 7, 2022 at 11 a.m., its new center in Niort, in the presence of Antoine Legros, president of the Institut de Soudure group, Séverine Suk Leroy, director of South-West operations, Jérôme Baloge, mayor of Niort and president of the Niortais agglomeration community, Pascal Duforestel, Nouvelle-Aquitaine regional councillor and Olivier Poiraud, departmental councillor of Deux-Sèvres.
As a player in the Niortais region since 2014, the Institut de Soudure group aims to pursue its development in the region to meet the demands of manufacturers in a wide variety of sectors.
With a new building with an area of 500 square meters, the group will be able to train a growing number of young people, job seekers, temporary workers, people in retraining or employees, in the trades of welder, pipefitter and thermal engineers. Jobs in tension whose skills are extremely sought after by the industry. With 12 new welding booths, the group can simultaneously train up to twenty trainees. More than 90% of the trainees trained are then permanently integrated into professional life.
A major player in professional integration throughout France, the Insgtitut de Soudure group offers Niort preparations for certificates of joint qualification in metallurgy (CQPM) or operational preparations for collective employment (POEC). They almost always guarantee access to employment in its professions. Alternating training courses are offered and implemented each year, such as CQPM Pipefitter or CQPM Welder.
Operational since November 2021, the new center brings together key activities of the group able to meet the needs of SMEs and SMIs or large groups: training, regulatory inspection under the cover of the Association for the Safety of Pressure Vessels (Asap), second and third party inspection as well as the control of industrial welded equipment.
