SGS announces the acquisition of AIEX, based in Cherbourg, France, and thus strengthens its offer dedicated to the nuclear energy sector.
Founded in 1998, AIEX mainly performs technical and welding inspections for the naval and nuclear industries.
The company employs 28 qualified professionals and generated a turnover of nearly 2.9 M€ in 2021.

AIEX joins the 2,800 employees of the SGS Group in France. Alain Guy, General Manager of SGS France says "Iam delighted to welcome the AIEX teams. We were already involved in monitoring and non-destructive testing of the integrity of installations as well as in the certification of suppliers to the nuclear and naval industries.
