Micro-Epsilon has designed two new confocal controllers, especially for measurements on dark or rough surfaces. The confocalDT 2465 and 2466 multi-peak models offer powerful light intensity with high measurement rates of up to 30 kHz.

When it comes to color-coded confocal sensors, Micro-Epsilon offers, according to him, the high-performance and largest sensor portfolio in the world. This allows many fields of industrial applications. Confocal sensors are used for measuring distance and thickness in areas requiring the highest accuracy and signal stability. They offer state-of-the-art technology combined with high speed and maximum precision.

The product range has now been expanded with the confocalDT 2465 and 2466 multi-peak confocal controllers. These provide a high light intensity, which makes it possible to make extremely stable measurements, even on dark and rough surfaces. Thanks to the light intensity, the measurement speed can be fully exploited on different materials.

The confocalDT 2465 is designed for a measurement channel. With the confocalDT 2466, two measurement channels can be processed by a single controller. The multi-peak controller can measure up to 5 transparent layers.
