Micro-Epsilon has developed two new confocal controllers, especially for measurements on dark or rough surfaces. The confocalDT 2465 and 2466 multi-peak models offer powerful light intensity with high measurement rates up to 30 kHz.
When it comes to chromatically coded confocal sensors, Micro-Epsilon offers the world's largest and most powerful sensor portfolio. This enables a wide range of industrial applications. Confocal sensors are used for distance and thickness measurement in areas requiring the highest accuracy and signal stability. They offer state-of-the-art technology combined with high speed and maximum accuracy.
The product range has now been expanded with the confocalDT 2465 and 2466 multi-peak confocal controllers. These provide high light intensity, which allows extremely stable measurements even on dark and rough surfaces. Thanks to the high light intensity, the measurement speed can be fully exploited on different materials.
The confocalDT 2465 is designed for one measurement channel. With the confocalDT 2466, two measurement channels can be processed by one controller. The multi-peak controller allows the measurement of up to 5 transparent layers.
