SpotSee, the global leader in supply chain indicators that protect products from damage and ensure supply chain integrity, has launched SpotBot 4G Plus, the latest version of the connected recorder that monitors a shipment's impact, temperature, humidity and location.
" In today's world, supply chain transparency is essential" said Tony Fonk, CEO of SpotSee, " Our team has developed the SpotBot 4G Plus into our next-generation impact sensor, so that our customers have the most effective tools to be connected and able to protect their shipments."
Created for use in the life sciences, automotive, electronics, power generation and aerospace sectors, the SpotBot 4G Plus provides detailed information on the condition of a product or cargo throughout the supply chain. Detailed data on location, impact, temperature and humidity are transmitted to the SpotSee cloud via the 4G LTE-M cellular network or known Wi-Fi connections. The device combines GPS technology with proximity detection from Wi-Fi signals and cell towers to track the location of shipments and the conditions they experience in transit.
All event information is available for download from a secure portal. Thanks to a user-friendly interface, customers can track each trip, receive real-time updates and spot potential damage along the way.
SpotBot 4G Plus, SpotSee's next-generation monitoring device, offers users a smaller footprint, intelligent data collection, live device configuration and longer battery life. The device will be available for purchase today from SpotSee and selected worldwide distributors.
