SGS announces the acquisition of Le Brigand NDT France, based in Nantes (44). The company is an independent and reference service provider in the field of non-destructive control of composite material and metal parts for the aviation industry.
Founded in 2006, Brigand NDT employs more than 100 highly qualified technicians who work on production and assembly lines at customer sites. In 2015, the company expects a turnover of more than 7 million euros.
For Jean-Luc Le Brigand, who remains the president of SGS Le Brigand NDT "Joining the SGS Group will enable us to provide more services to our customers by being as close as possible to their locations in France and around the world, and by having NADCAP sites to control their parts."
"This acquisition will strengthen our position in the aviation industry," said Frankie Ng, CEO of SGS.
