Endel Engie has announced the acquisition of CEP Industrie through its subsidiary CSI - specialized in non-destructive testing, mechanical testing and inspection - creating the French market leader in non-destructive testing (NDT). This major acquisition opens up major prospects for Endel in terms of development and technical innovation in a key sector for the years to come, while strengthening its territorial coverage.

A subsidiary of the Bureau Veritas group, CEP Industrie is a leading provider of NDT services for regulated nuclear environments. With nearly 200 employees, CEP Industrie has been deploying a wide range of technical skills for 70 years, through a variety of non-destructive testing services. CEP Industrie masters the majority of techniques, both traditional and advanced, and implements them in its laboratories as well as at its industrial customers' sites.
Endel strengthens its local presence and broadens the scope of its technical expertise
The merger of CSI and CEP Industrie places Endel, the French leader in industrial maintenance, in a leading position in this market. CEP Industrie provides Endel with essential skills, in particular the use of a unique NDT technology for high thicknesses. This acquisition will enable Endel to develop and strengthen the skills of its subsidiary CSI thanks to synergies with CEP Industrie, both in technical and geographical terms, by reinforcing Endel's customer proximity in these activities.
