Since 2011, Pipecheck has set the standard for reliable and accurate NDT diagnostics of surface damage on the inner and outer walls of pipes, using ultrasonic testing and 3D scanning technologies, whether corrosion, sinking or grooves in the metal.

Improved welding inspections:

Full pipeline section assessment up to 60 feet (18 m) in length: Surface inspection of industry standard complete pipeline sections up to 56 inches (1.4 m) in diameter.

Faster analytics and reporting features: On-site analysis and reporting up to 6 times faster.

Improved workflow: Data analysis is done in sections, which are then analyzed together to produce a complete final report, so that pipeline owners can have essential information when they need to act quickly.

Multiscanner capacity: Divide inspection time by the number of scanners used to ensure a shorter total inspection time.

The Pipecheck solution offers other key competitive advantages, such as the reliability and repeatability of measures that are independent of the operator's or technician's expertise.

A New Deal for Pipeline Surface Inspections

"The challenge was not only to increase the capacity of the length of the supported pipes, but also to improve the speed of analysis and reporting, regardless of their size,"says Steeves Roy, product manager at Creaform. Without compromising on data processing, analytics and reporting speed, Pipecheck 5.0 becomes the most reliable complete pipeline section evaluation solution on the market. All Pipecheck license owners covered by the Creaform Customer Service Program will benefit from this major software upgrade."

"Most asset owners and NDT services companies turn to Pipecheck for corrosion mapping and pipeline evaluation. The accuracy and repeatability of 3D mapping, compared to manual measurements, is an essential element for our customers who need to make the safest decision about the integrity of the pipeline, adds Mathieu Magnan, Director of Business Development at Creaform. Inspections that took days can now be carried out in a matter of hours with the creation of direct on-site reports using Creaform technologies. With Pipecheck 5.0, it is now possible to scan, analyze and report with data from entire pipeline sections in less than a day. This is a significant increase in performance compared to previous versions of the software."
