Electronic manufacturing leaders, senior executives, policy makers and academics from across Europe will meet at the SEMI Industrial Strategy Conference (ISS Europe) from 1-3 April 2020 in Brussels to explore Europe's strategic, social and economic needs.
As Europe prepares for the effects of Brexit, including higher tariffs, longer delays and greater uncertainties, ISS Europe 2020 will bring together leading leaders, analysts, researchers, economists and technologists to rehabilitate the electronics service and supply chain to discuss and highlight opportunities to develop technology , the products and services needed to achieve Europe's collective socio-economic and sustainability goals.
Hosted by SEMI Europe, the three-day trade event will take place this year, focusing on how technology can secure solutions to future global challenges, how to drive strategic progress in key technological areas critical to European competitiveness and security, as well as the importance of collaborative innovation. The conference will begin with the executive panel "innovations strengthening European sovereignty in the digital economy". The role of talent, mentoring, diversity and inclusion in supporting the growth of the semiconductor industry will also be discussed to illustrate how European talent and capabilities can be used.
