Marc Ventre was unanimously re-elected Chairman of Afnor by its board of directors. This election was validated, as required by the statutes, by ministers Bruno Le Maire and Agnès Pannier-Runacher.
Born in 1950, Marc Ventre graduated from the Ecole Centrale de Paris and holds a master of science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Coming from the aeronautics industry, he distinguished himself in particular at Safran, where he was Deputy Chief Operating Officer from 2011 to 2015. Marc Ventre is Chairman of the IESF (Society of Engineers and Scientists of France). He has chaired Afnor's board of directors since 2017 and is thus starting a second term.
An associative group, established in 14 cities in France and 39 countries abroad, the Afnor group designs and deploys solutions based on voluntary standards in the service of economic development and innovation. Its general management is ensured by Olivier Peyrat.
