Due to the lingering effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and after consultation with its customers and partners, the JEC World team has announced its decision to postpone the new edition of the JEC World fair, which is supposed to take place from March 9 to 11. , on the dates of June 1 to 3, 2021.
Faced with the growing concern of its exhibitors and partners about the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic, travel restrictions, containment and quarantine measures recently announced in many countries, the team JEC World has decided to study alternatives for the next edition of the show so that it can be held under optimal security conditions in 2021.
Thus, JEC World exhibitors were invited to respond to a survey proposing three dates in order to choose the one that suits them best. A large majority of those polled expressed a preference for the dates of June 1-3, 2021.
“We sincerely regret having to make such a difficult decision. However, we will do everything we can, starting now, to provide the best JEC World experience for our customers. We look forward to welcoming all the players in the global composite materials sector to Paris again in June 2021 ” , said Eric Pierrejean, CEO of JEC Group.
The leading international trade fair for the composites sector, JEC World brings together all the players in the composite materials value chain and professionals from the application sectors, experts from the scientific community and academia, associations and the media from more than 112 countries.

This online platform, which will be set up in parallel with the JEC World fair, has been specially designed for participants who will not be able to attend the fair in person but who wish to experience the event as if they were there.
“JEC World and its expanded version will bring together members of the global composites community and specialists to make contacts with exhibitors, organize virtual business meetings, take part in videoconferences, conferences and discover the latest innovations of the sector, ” said Adeline Larroque, director of the EMEA show and events.
