In the wake of the government's recovery plan, Global Industrie is setting up in January 2021 a daring long-term program: GI Booster de Relance. The goal: to bring together the players in the sector to boost the French industrial economic revival, thanks to a set of complementary events designed by the organizers in a coherent manner. Consequence of this initiative: the reprogramming of Global Industrie Lyon, from September 7 to 10, 2021, at Eurexpo.
“Global Industrie was created to defend the industrial excellence of our country. The health crisis we are going through is an opportunity for Global Industrie to reinvent itself to better prepare for the future. More than ever, we are committed to fulfilling our mission as a business facilitator and to supporting the entire sector as best we can during this delicate period. Today, Global Industrie is no longer just an annual meeting but a set of complementary events which aim to support the long-term revival program for French industry. To ensure the sustainability of this project, we did not hesitate to postpone Global Industrie Lyon 2021 from March to September ” , indicates Sébastien Gillet, Director of the show.
As soon as the first containment was released, Global Industrie had innovated by offering the first digital event of the show, Global Industrie Connect. Today, in line with this transformation, the GI Booster de Relance program is inaugurating five major business accelerator events, which correspond to five major objectives: to be inspired, to meet, to prepare, to achieve and to support.
1. Get inspired with GI 360
Launched at the start of 2021, GI360 is a bimonthly program which will provide a 360 ° inventory of the sector, during a program focused on three chapters:
- a point of conjuncture, to anticipate the economic and industrial recovery, schedule launches and production;
- a debate on a topical technical subject to identify the technologies best suited to its needs;
- and a 360 ° virtual visit to an industrialist to highlight the factories of the future and identify new partners.
The dates and themes of the first GI360s have already been defined: relocation (February 9, 2021), 5G (May 4, 2021), ecological transition (July 22, 2021).
2. Meet with GI Business Meetings
Variations of the business meetings that take place at the show, the GI Business Meetings are a series of qualitative “one to one” meetings between exhibitors and a selection of decision makers at the heart of the Global Industry target. In "physical" or digital, they are held on a given theme and in a predefined city.
By traveling across the national territory, IM Business Meetings further facilitate exchanges between customers and suppliers. The theme of each edition reinforces the guarantee of a fruitful exchange and the realization of business projects.
The dates planned for the GI Business Meetings are: March 9, 2021, May 25, 2021, December 7, 2021 and February 2022. The themes and associated locations will be revealed shortly.
3. Prepare with GI Preview
100% digital event allowing exhibitors and visitors to prepare their show, GI Preview takes the form of:
- exhibitor webinars: speaking time to present their products, services or solutions, and promote their business before the show, announce their new products in preview;
- round tables bringing together institutions, partners and industry pioneers;
- interactive chats to chat live, network with interested prospects and make physical appointments during the show.
Next meeting, June 22 and 23, 2021. Next edition: spring 2022
4. Make it happen with the Global Industrie exhibition
Because the business world needs to come together to share, build, establish contacts and realize projects, nothing can replace the "physical" meeting and the pleasure of talking to a prospect, of signing a contract on a show.
The only major industrial event of this magnitude in France, Global Industrie brings together the entire industrial ecosystem, from startups to large groups, including subcontracting, incubators, manufacturers of industrial equipment or solutions ... but also the entire value chain (R&D, design, production, maintenance, training services, etc.) and all user markets (transport, energy, food processing, chemicals, cosmetology, pharmaceuticals, mechanics, etc.).
The alternation of this innovation showcase in the two most important French metropolises, even years in Paris and odd years in Lyon, brings real complementarity.
In 2021, the global technological offer is continuing its reorganization for better visibility around 15 universes: Assembly, assembly, industrial fasteners - Electronics - Additive & 3D manufacturing - Finishing and treatment of materials - Forge & foundry - Materials - Measurement, control, vision - Plastics, rubber, composites - Regions and countries - Robotics - Company services and facilities - Smart Tech - Environmental solutions - Sheet metal, metal forming, welding - Machining and material removal.
Please note the next editions: Global Industrie Lyon, from September 7 to 10, 2021, at Eurexpo Lyon, and Global Industrie Paris, in spring 2022, Parc des Expositions de Villepinte.
5. Support with Industrie Online
Access to 3,000 supplier files for a complete and unique offer, to a simplified system for requesting quotes with immediate contact, and to a blog with new content on market news: this is what makes available to its Industry Online users. This marketplace, accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, supports project development and allows new players to meet all year round.
Operational from April 20, 2021, www.industrie-online.com will facilitate contact between suppliers and buyers thanks to a comprehensive search engine (buyers) and a statistical tool to monitor performance (suppliers).
“I would like to thank the organization for having decided to postpone and not to cancel Global Industrie […]. This show, which has been the largest industrial show in France for two years, must take place […]. French industry, to which I attach so much importance, awaits it, ” indicated Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy, Finance and Recovery.
