Specific know-how and services
The group operates mainly in the aerospace, defense & space and automotive sectors, but also in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and medical sectors. Hence the recent creation of Trescal Pharma. "In 2020, we launched a new brand aimed at manufacturers and laboratories in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and medical sectors. Taking into account the specific standards of these sectors, Trescal Pharma is able to handle the metrology (equipment monitoring) and qualification (in the broadest sense) aspects. We wanted to go beyond our usual metrological services, already appreciated by our customers in these sectors. We have invested additional resources to meet the expectations and needs of manufacturers in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors, analysis and hospital laboratories, and manufacturers of production equipment and measuring devices. In particular, we have invested in standards-compliant traceability, to guarantee the conformity of our services, and to develop additional procedural protocols for equipment qualification", explains Olga Leclerc, Head of the Audit, Consulting & Training, Technical Expert & Regulatory Division.
Trescal's entire offer complies with pharmaceutical standards, including FDA CFR part 11, as well as GMP and BPD. In particular, the company is called upon to control purified water stations, washing machines, misters, production reactors and filling machines. Pressure, temperature, hygrometry, conductivity, flowmetering, VPS, PHmetering, photometry, etc.: all measurement quantities can be measured. all measurement quantities can be measured and controlled. Trescal also offers qualification services for laboratory equipment, as well as thermal and climatic equipment (freezers, cold chambers, ovens, incubators, autoclaves, refrigerated trucks, etc.).
"Trescal is involved in the qualification of equipment, production line installations and production tools used for medical and cosmetic purposes. Our experts are able to control the material resources essential to production, and to intervene in processes from the upstream phases through to production on a national or international scale. Control of the production process in these sectors is based on the hazard analysis approach and the identification of critical points using various methodologies. For example, Trescal carries out Amdec (Analysis of Failure Modes, Their Effects and Criticality) risk analyses, as well as the control and monitoring of production equipment and resources. The aim is to eliminate errors, reinforce control procedures, and deduce the consequences of incidents. In addition to processes and equipment, we have trained our staff to be qualified in these fields," concludes Olga Leclerc.
