European publisher in operations and maintenance management (GEM), Carl Berger-Levrault enriches its digital twin for maintenance and operations players with the new BL multi-scale viewer. VIZ.

Carl Berger-Levraut launches a complete digital platform for equipment and asset management with its new BIM – CIM offer. This offer succeeds the management functionalities provided by the Carl Source software, such as mapping through GIS integration or DWG plans or the "real-time" dimension thanks to objects connected to artificial intelligence, BIM – to meet the expectations of the digital twin.

An open BIM-CIM GEM solution

Integrated into its Carl Source software, the BL 3D viewer. VIZ allows you to visualize and synchronize the data of the models (attributers and 3D) for maintenance use. Among its strengths, it relies on an Open BIM architecture (IFC, 3DTiles) simplifying its use regardless of the modeling tools.

This offer concerns the field of real estate, infrastructure and networks.

The uses are multiple:

• Asset managers can thus optimize the management of their activity through the interaction of management data, 3D models and IoT data.

• Field technicians benefit from diagnostic assistance thanks to a better understanding of their environment (knowledge of network paths, pipes, virtual access to closed and secure spaces, etc.).

The BL solution. VIZ is the result of work carried out in collaboration with the Berger-Levrault Group's Innovation Department and the Liris laboratory (Laboratoire d'Informatique en image et systèmes d'information) in Lyon. It enriches an existing offer based on certain partner products.
