With the new generations of surfaceControl, reflectControl and scanControl, Micro-Epsilon presents a portfolio of high-performance 3D products for the precise control of geometry, shape and surface. The high-performance, feature-rich 3DInspect software, compatible with all Micro-Epsilon 3D sensors, is a major asset.
Micro-Epsilon offers 3DInspect software for all the 3D sensors in its own portfolio. The software is user-friendly and intuitive to operate. The software not only lets you set sensor parameters, but also record measurement data. The varied range of tools extends from point cloud alignment to calculation programs for distance, height, angle and radius, as well as a simple option for output to the Api and further processing of measurement data. In addition to the standard version, the "Automation" functional extension is available for automated production processes.
Micro-Epsilon's complete 3D software package is compatible, among other things, with surfaceControl 3D sensors. These are used for rapid 3D measurement and inspection of diffuse reflective surfaces such as metal, plastic or ceramics. With z repeatability down to 0.4 µm, the sensor sets new standards in high-precision 3D measurement technology. The reflectControl sensor has been designed for 3D measurements on reflective and glossy surfaces. The sensor can be used stationary for micrometer-accurate measurements to monitor the production line, or for in-line inspection, e.g. on a robot. A scratch pattern generated on the sensor screen is reflected onto the surface of the object to be measured in the sensor's cameras. Surface deviations cause deformations in the light bangs, which are then evaluated by the software.
scanControl series laser scanners are among the world's most powerful profile sensors in terms of accuracy and measurement frequency. To generate 3D scans, movement is required. The scanners are moved over the object to be measured, for example by a robot or moving device, or by conveyor belts that transport the objects to be measured in front of the scanner. Micro-Epsilon laser scanners offer a unique combination of high dynamics, precision and compact size. Numerous measuring ranges are available, as well as Red and Blue Laser technologies and a wide range of accessories. The scanners are just as convincing for integrators as they are for series production line use.
