With the new generations of surfaceControl, reflectControl and scanControl, Micro-Epsilon presents a portfolio of high-performance 3D products for precise geometry, shape and surface control. The powerful 3DInspect software, compatible with all Micro-Epsilon 3D sensors and equipped with many features, is a major asset.
Micro-Epsilon offers 3DInspect software for all 3D sensors in its own portfolio. It is designed in a user-friendly way and can be controlled intuitively. The software allows you to set up the sensors, but also to record the measurement data. The varied range of tools ranges from point cloud alignment to calculation programs for distance, height, angle and radius, as well as a simple option to output to the API and further processing of measurement data. In addition to the standard version, the functional extension "Automation" is offered for automated production processes.
Micro-Epsilon's complete 3D software package is compatible, among other things, with surfaceControl 3D sensors. These are used for rapid 3D measurement and inspection of diffuse reflective surfaces such as metal, plastic or ceramic. With a repeatability z up to 0.4 μm, the sensor sets new standards in highly accurate 3D measurement technology. The reflectControl sensor has been designed for 3D measurements on reflective and shiny surfaces. The sensor can be used stationary for micrometric precision measurements to monitor the production line or for on-line inspection, for example on a robot. A pattern of scratches generated on the screen of the sensor, is reflected on the surface of the object to be measured in the cameras of the sensor. Surface deviations cause deformations in the fringes of light which are then evaluated by the software.
The laser scanners of the scanControl series are among the world's most powerful profile sensors in terms of accuracy and measurement frequency. To generate 3D scans, movement is required. The scanners are moved above the object to be measured, for example by a robot or a moving device, or by conveyor belts that carry the objects to be measured in front of the scanner. Micro-Epsilon laser scanners offer a unique combination of high dynamics, precision and compact size. Many measuring ranges are available as well as Red and Blue Laser technologies and many accessories. The scanners are convincing both for integrators and for series use on the production line.
