Version 7 of the Carl Source CMMS software will be available from January 2023 in SaaS and On Premise modes. This version features ergonomic evolutions, business improvements and innovations around IoT, Bim and mobility.
" With Carl Source 7, we support our customers in their move towards 4.0 maintenance, with the agility offered by SaaS mode. Technological innovations in IoT, predictive maintenance, digital mock-ups and mobility for Carl Source 7 reinforce our approach to the digital twin. "Antoine Dumurgier, CEO of the Berger-Levrault Group.
In its ongoing quest for customer satisfaction, Carl Berger-Levrault is upgrading the architecture of its Carl Source 7 application to SaaS mode. The publisher thus offers a dynamic platform that continuously releases improvements to meet its customers' needs.
Its objective is to enable all its customers to free themselves from the technical constraints of hosting, infrastructure and updates, while guaranteeing the highest level of security and peace of mind. To achieve this, Carl Berger-Levrault has obtained Iso 27 001 certification for the security of its hosting services. All solutions are tested by an external company with expertise in intrusion detection.
Finally, to help our customers compliance with RGPD legislation in terms of personal data management, the entire application, including mobile extensions, features automatic anonymization mechanisms and CGU (General Terms of Use) validation.
Improved ergonomics and business functions
Carl Source 7 extends its contextualization capabilities with new graphics to better adapt to the needs of its users. The welcome portal has been enriched and its handling redesigned to inform, alert and guide maintenance technicians in the actions they need to take on a daily basis.
The CMMS software features a new asset evaluation function that enhances the health log of buildings, infrastructures and technical equipment.
This allows technical services to have a complete and objective view of your assets, so you can make the right decisions.
This new version features an automatic resource allocation function for future interventions. This speeds up and simplifies intervention planning.
Finally, a customizable workflow configurator allows users to adapt software processes to their own organization. For example, a tool may have different state sequences than a safety device.
Mobile CMMS applications for field workers
For more than 10 years, Carl Berger-Levrault has made mobility a major area of development to meet the expectations of its users in the field. Visit solution Carl Touch, a multi-platform (Android and iOS) mobile CMMS, has been enhanced with a calendar that makes it easier for technicians to consult planned and completed activities. RFID technology and in-field equipment identification round out the rich functionality of this new version.
