On1 March 2023, Claunel Massiès took over the management of Endress+Hauser's French marketing centre, where he had previously headed Wika's French subsidiary. He will be supported by the management committee that has been in place for several years.
A manager recognized in the world of instrumentation
Claunel Massiès is the fifth Managing Director since the creation of the French subsidiary in 1962. A well-known manager in the world of measurement instrumentation, he successfully managed the teams of the French subsidiary of Wika, a family company specializing in measuring equipment, headquartered in Germany.
In 2020, he was appointed Vice President of the Distribution Business Model for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
After a technical and commercial training in Paris, Claunel Massiès began his career in 1990 as a sales manager at SMC Pneumatique, a provider of industrial automation solutions. As Director of Sales and Marketing in the same company, he managed, from 2004, a hundred employees and ensured the follow-up of key accounts. In 2009, he obtained a master's degree in general management from the École supérieure des sciences économiques et commerciales (Essec) in Paris and Singapore.
A year later, he took over the management of the French subsidiary of Wika Instruments. Over the past twelve years, he has contributed to the company's progress.
