On the occasion of the Global Industrie trade show being held at Paris Nord Villepinte from March 25 to 28, 2024, Roland Lescure, Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, in charge of Industry and Energy, Franck Riester, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affaires, in charge of Foreign Trade, Attractiveness, the Francophonie and the French Abroad, and Laurent Saint-Martin, Managing Director of Business France, officially launched the "Team France Filière Industrie du Futur".
Under the aegis of Team France Export, more than 3,866 industrial companies have benefited from export support since 2018. Last year, 1,569 companies were supported in their international industrial activities.
The stated aim of Team France Filière Industrie du Futur is to establish an efficient collaboration and organization for the development of French industry, both in terms of exports and in the search for international investors. Its mission is to support and amplifier the international actions carried out by Business France and the strategic contract of the "Solutions Industrie du Futur" sector.
Team France Filière Industrie du Futur is committed to several areas of collaboration: mapping priority export markets, exchanging views on strategic issues, identification of French strengths, actions for internationalization, multi-year programming, identification of technological needs, communication on cooperation, and support for Industrie du Futur ambassadors. These combined efforts aim to strengthen the position of French industry on the international stage.
With some 32,000 companies generating 500,000 jobs, industry is a key sector of the national economy, constituting the 3rd largest contributor to the country's GDP. For several years now, France has been Europe's leading host country for foreign manufacturing projects, with investments that profit the entire country.
"The industry of the future is also the future of industry. Automation, robotization, smart and connected machines, integration of digital, data and AI in plant management and production processes: these are the keys to our success in reindustrializing our country and decarbonizing industry. In this endeavor, we cannot be dependent on foreign offre alone, and that's why the filière of offreurs de solutions pour l'industrie du futur matters so much to me. Congratulations to Business France, Alliance Industrie du Futur, Evolis, Polymeris and France Addi4ve for this partnership, which will enable our filière to shine even brighter."says Roland Lescure.
"Thanks to the reindustrialization policy that the President of the Republic has been driving hard for the past seven years, thanks to the reforms of our affaires environment, thanks to the France 2030 investment plan and thanks to the excellence of our startups in the field of artificial intelligence or quantum computing, our country has been able to bring out real French nuggets of the industry of the future and attract major investors."says Franck Riester.
"The creation of Team France Filière Industrie du futur represents a decisive step in our commitment to the international development of French industry and to supporting our French companies in exporting. By joining forces with key players in the sector, we are strengthening our ability to attract international investors and promote innovation, positioning France as an undisputed leader in the industry of the future on the world stage".stresses Laurent Saint-Martin.
