Nathalie Ducombeau, Director of Quality at Airbus, received the national award of "La Tribune Women's Award" in the category "Woman Manager of the Year".
The "Women Manager of the Year" award recognizes a woman who leads teams by contributing every day to the success of her company, its strategy and its results, and who integrates the culture of gender equality and diversity in general into her work. Nathalie Ducombeau joined Airbus at the beginning of 2008 as director of aerostructures for the A400M military aircraft program, and since October 2012 has been Airbus Quality Director, in which she is responsible for defining and deploying the quality management system, its standards, procedures and tools.
It supervises nearly 3,400 people at all Airbus sites. She previously served as Director of Operations A350 XWB with the task of coordinating the start-up of production of the A350 XWB in the ten European plants.
