On December 19, 2019, the board of directors of the Technical Center for Mechanical Industries (Cetim) elected a new president. Jérôme Duprez succeeds Emmanuel Vielliard. Aged 63, this engineer from ESME Sudria and manager of companies at IAE is president of SFCD, reference shareholder of the Moret Industries group, a major global player in the agro-industry of primary and secondary processing.
Joined the group in 1987 as a quality engineer, he held several positions there, in particular the presidency he left in 2017 (after having increased the activity from 15 million euros in 1987 to 280 million euros in 2016, of which 85% for export).
In addition to these industrial activities, Jérôme Duprez served as president of UIMM Aisne and then of UIMM Picardie after the merger between the three entities of the departments Aisne, Oise and Somme. He was also president of Profluid and Europump.
As president of Cetim, Jérôme Duprez wishes to consolidate Cetim in its founding missions, which today translate into a commitment to make mechanics "the first industry of the future in France" and to make the stake of the ecological and energy transition a major cause.
