Bronkhorst's IQ+Flow series of miniature mass flow meters and pressure transmitters/controllers are widely used by equipment manufacturers in the analytical, biotechnology and life sciences sectors. Thanks to the integration of chip sensors and mini-valves, these single-channel instruments have a footprint of just 20 x 40 mm. A big advantage for benchtop equipment manufacturers who are constantly looking for ways to optimize space.
The IQ+Flow range now includes instruments for pressure measurement and control, featuring pressure sensors isolated from the fluid. The sensor is protected by a stainless steel diaphragm and an intermediate chamber containing oil. Thanks to this new option, the instruments can handle a wider range of fluids than ever before, including light gases such as hydrogen and helium. In line with market requirements, these instruments now feature fluid contact surfaces that are both clean and have very low gas adsorption and desorption.
IQ+Flow series instruments are available in three configurations: single-channel versions for standard mounting on a gas line, surface-mounted, or as a multi-channel module. The compact 2- or 3-way instruments can be configured to customer specifications to measure or regulate mass flow and/or pressure upstream or downstream of a system.
