Monitoring the production of composite materials calls for extensive and flexible resources, using cutting-edge technologies such as non-contact measurement (video-extensometry, etc.), compression and fracture testing, and ageing monitoring. Aware that not all companies can afford these resources, the Cetim (Centre technique des industries mécaniques) and Europe Technologiesan expert in materials engineering, have joined forces to offer a joint range of production monitoring tests on composite materials. The new offering is aimed in particular at the aerospace sector (Airbus, Safran, Duqeine or Daher).
The services offered benefit from the accreditations and certifications of both companies (Nadcap accreditation for composite materials testing and Cofrac accreditation for the 93 testing program). The resources represent more than 2 million euros' worth of state-of-the-art equipment: presses, testing machines, spectrometer, etc. They draw on the infrastructures of the Technocampus EMC2 sites in Carquefou and Casablanca (Morocco).
