The American company Hamlinfounded in 1949 and specialized in sensors for the automotive, electronics and industrial markets, has just been acquired by Littelfusefor €145 million. In 2012, Hamlin had sales of 76 M$.
After the buyout of Accel last year, Littelfuse confirms its ambition to become a major player in the world of automotive sensors. Above all, it is a means of diversification for this American company, founded in 1927 and specialized in fuses and protective components.
