Endress+Hauser's Lyon branch and Kaiser Optical Systems' European headquarters under one roof
Endress+Hauser has invested 4.9 million euros in a new building in Saint-Priest near Lyon. In addition to the 25 staff dedicated to Endress+Hauser's regional sales and service activities, 9 employees from Kaiser Optical Systems' European headquarters have moved into the new premises.
"The new building offers a modern, fully-equipped workspace for our employees and a didactic customer training area," enthuses Laurent Mulley, Managing Director of Endress+Hauser France. "At the same time, we are bringing together Endress+Hauser's measurement solutions for process automation and Kaiser Optical Systems' advanced analysis processes under one roof. We are thus laying the foundations for a lasting strengthening of our presence on the French market", added Laurent Mulley. "We are proud of this achievement, which demonstrates our dynamism in the Lyon region, where our activities are growing rapidly", he concluded at the inauguration ceremony attended by numerous customers.
Close collaboration
"One of the cornerstones of our strategy is to support our customers in their laboratory and process control applications," explains Matthias Altendorf, CEO of the Endress+Hauser Group. "The proximity of Endress+Hauser and Kaiser Optical Systems in Lyon illustrates the progress we are making in implementing this strategy. The development of business in the field of process automation and laboratory analysis reflects the wishes of many customers for on-line measurements of quality parameters."
A long-term investment
Synergies for optimal customer management
The main beneficiaries of the collaboration between Endress+Hauser and Kaiser Optical Systems are customers in the life sciences, chemicals, water & wastewater, food & beverage and oil & gas sectors. The US company Kaiser Optical Systems was acquired by Endress+Hauser in 2013. The company's Raman spectroscopy analyzers are designed to examine the composition and properties of liquid, gaseous and solid materials.
