Artema, the mechatronics industry association, is forecasting a good start to 2018 for all its professions. The mechanical and mechatronic components, systems and solutions of our members are present in all industrial sectors in 1era assembly: industrial machines and equipment, mobile machines (public works equipment, agricultural machinery), transport equipment (automotive, aeronautical, rail, naval), and spare parts for the optimization and maintenance of all plants.
The outlook for the first quarter of 2018 is positive for all of our occupations with healthy order books and a further improvement in the three-month outlook. The upward trend in activity seen since the beginning of 2017 puts the technical decline in December into perspective. Exports in 2017 have regained their dynamism, and continue to accompany growth in France.
