The testing of electrical equipment is becoming increasingly regulated. Each one complies with a specific standard, and must therefore be tested according to precise test parameters. The C.A 6165, Chauvin Arnoux's new multi-purpose, high-performance electrical safety tester, can be used to test and certify the electrical safety of all switchgear and equipment, in accordance with standards IEC 60204, IEC 61439, IEC 60335, IEC 60950, IEC 50191, VDE 0701/0702...
A global solution for standard control
The C.A 6165 is suitable for testing and certifying the electrical safety of portable equipment, machines or cabinets, as part of conformity checks at the end of the production line, or for periodic inspection or maintenance.
It enables continuity testing (test current up to 25 A), insulation testing up to 199.9 MΩ, voltage drop measurement, internal and external discharge time measurement, leakage current measurement (operating, differential, substitution or contact) and functional testing (power, voltage, frequency measurements...). Operating under all regimes (TN, TT & IT), it can perform unit tests and automatic sequences, including dielectric tests up to 5 kVAC / 6 kVDC.
Ergonomics
Easy to use, it features a large 480 x 272 pixel TFT color capacitive touch screen, outputs for 2 or 4 signal lamps & buzzer, and inputs for door contact and remote control pedal. Test results are stored on a micro-SD card.
The C.A 6165 features USB, Bluetooth and Ethernet communication ports. Analysis is simplified with PC MT Link software: structure management, databases, automatic sequences and standard-compliant report generation...
Supplied as standard with a carry bag containing all the accessories required for multiple measurements, plus software.
