Hélène Le Du, a civil engineer from Mines ParisTech and an engineer from the Corps des Mines, was appointed on January 1, 2009.er January 2019, by ministerial order of December 19, 2018 signed by the Minister of the Economy and Finance, deputy director of Mines ParisTech, a benchmark engineering school in the fields of energy transition and predictive sciences for the industry of the future.
She will assist Vincent Laflèche, Director of Mines ParisTech, in the management of the School, in particular for the coordination of projects to implement the strategic plan, as well as the coordination and monitoring of certain services or support departments.
Hélène Le Du began her career in 2002 as head of the regional industrial environment department, then as deputy director, at the Haute-Normandie regional directorate for industry, research and the environment (Drire).
In 2006, she was appointed Deputy Secretary General of the Drire network at the Directorate for Regional Affairs, Quality and Industrial Safety at the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Employment. In 2007, she joined the cabinet of the Minister for Ecology, Sustainable Development and Town and Country Planning as project manager for the Ministry's reform.
Between 2008 and 2012, she was appointed Deputy Director of Climate and Air Quality at the Directorate General for Energy and Climate at the French Ministry of Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and the Sea.
In 2012, she continued her career as scientific strategy and foresight officer to the scientific director at the French Institute for Transport, Planning and Networks Science and Technology (Ifsttar), then in 2015, she became head of the department for relations with institutional and academic players at the same research organization.
In 2017, she joined the Mines ParisTech team, where she was successively in charge of the following projects executive training in the teaching department, then project manager to the Director and, on an interim basis, Director of Human Resources, before becoming Deputy Director of the school in 2019.
